I interviewed the most fascinating Professor of Economics recently…Ian Lee from the Sprott School of Business in Ottawa. I asked him why the Canadian economy is in the deplorable state that it’s in.
Capital gains tax basically says to a business, “go away”, please don’t invest in Canada. We have no budget from our former banker PM and now we’re hitching our wagon to Europe instead of repairing things with the US.
Why don’t we help our natural resource industries? Potash, minerals, oil, lumber and dairy? Professor Lee flat out blamed the climate zealotry pushed by Steven Guilbeault, Justin Trudeau and now Mark Carney—he didn’t hold back on how we got here.

First off, we need to take a look at our landmass relative to our population. It's a problem not one other western nation, not even those in South America, has. It's why the Freedom Convoy was so neatly crushed and movements in European countries were not.

This last one is extremely important, because it demonstrates that those that operate outside the full state are viewed as problems that need to be solved.
