"We know MSM is full of crap"
No truer words said...my interview with Drea Humphrey from Rebel News
As a former newscast director with Global News, I’ve witnessed firsthand the slow but steady degradation of journalistic integrity. Today’s newsrooms are often filled with reporters who seem more interested in promoting narratives than in seeking the truth. There’s a growing lack of curiosity, a dangerous “know-it-all” attitude, and a fear of confronting uncomfortable facts — especially if those facts challenge popular progressive ideologies. I've seen stories about conservative figures twisted or ignored, while liberal politicians are given a pass or even glorified. The practice of lying by omission is rampant: key facts are left out if they don’t support the preferred angle. Stories that should be neutral are often subtly framed to paint conservative viewpoints as extreme or outdated. The phrase “safe and effective!” repeated endlessly during the pandemic is a prime example — dissenting voices, even from credible experts, were routinely silenced or ridiculed rather than engaged. Journalism was once about holding the powerful accountable, no matter their party. Now, it too often feels like activism disguised as reporting.
Now, I’m sensing panic. Panic that the establishment is losing this battle of information and that the alternative media is gaining respect, credibility and views. Institutions like the CBC whose days might be numbered if Pierre is elected, are panicking. They are losing grip and losing touch.
This was more than evident during the Leadership Debates in Montreal, where after the French debate, alternative media asked interesting, out of the box yet relevant questions and all hell broke loose. This led to heckling by MSM, removal of Ezra Levant’s media pass, heightened police security and ultimately, cancelling the press conference for all media after the English debate.
Below are a series of three videos I made, following this story. The final video is my interview with Drea Humphrey of Rebel News who gave me her firsthand account of what happened on those historical nights.

Finally people are getting sensitive to bullshit. The last few decades people didn't even notice that we were facing record inflation with frakking real estate prices. But now at least they're bitching and should!

Call them "the once-struggling independent alternatives." It took three damn years, but Rebel News has finally kicked the door in. Next time around, the other outfits are going to be smashing the gates down.
