Is it a deal with the devil?
When I heard about Trump’s attempted assassination on July 13th, I immediately sensed something disingenuous about it all. News events today are a “smoke show”, with the debate debacle, assassination attempt, Biden stepping down, the appointment of JD Vance, the selection of Kamala Harris—it’s all like a Netflix series with a cliffhanger episode each day.
I thought maybe Trump staged it, although his reaction looked so genuine but WWE folks have a way of grand theatre. Even mentioning the possibility of him staging it, upset people. I didn’t realize how emotionally invested the public is in this man, who is supposed to come and save the day. I like Trump, I think he’s funny, good with money and he certainly looked patriotic and physically strong that day. Trump can handle a bullet yet Biden can’t handle a staircase.
It’s likely though, he can’t be the autonomous leader he wants to be, politicians are beholden to their donors and backers. One of his backers and someone who has ties to JD Vance is Peter Thiel of Palantir. Palantir, a company into data mining and surveillance. Yet, Thiel, Vivek Ramaswamy and JD Vance invest in Rumble. So they like free speech and surveillance? Angel on one side, devil on the other?
I realize a 50 year old father lost his life, but I also realize the forces behind controlled events don’t care about casualties. Controlled events beget controlled news.
