Fasten Your Seatbelt, Danielle Smith.
Praise and criticism for newly elected Premier of Alberta, Canada.
When I heard Alberta Premier, Danielle Smith at a press conference saying, she thought one of the most discriminated groups she’d ever seen in her lifetime, were the unvaccinated, I could barely believe what I was seeing and hearing. Not because I haven’t heard it before. Canada has many political voices speaking out in defense of the unjabbed, Pierre Poilievre, Maxime Bernier, Leslyn Lewis to name a few, but in this case, Smith is in a position of power and can make changes. She won… and yet she still had the courage to speak her truth publicly.
Of course, the MSM media criticism and onslaught came fast and furious, she had to issue apologies and she hasn’t been in power for even a month yet. For example, she said perhaps the only way the war could end is if Ukraine could stay neutral. Going on to say, there are thriving nations that have managed with neutrality. Our Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said, Smith’s remarks were frightening. Pretty heavy words, from the Deputy PM, who thinks freezing bank accounts of single mothers and tripling carbon tax is perfectly fine in this economy. Freeland is the frightening one, with her cold ignorance and corrupt policies.
However, Smith is receiving much praise from alternative media outlets for her decision to have nothing to do with WEF. Why would she anyway? What on earth does an elite lobbying entity have to do with policy decisions for people in say, Red Deer?
It’s going to be a rocky road for Ms. Smith with biased legacy media and corrupt government cronies trying to shoot down what she’s trying to accomplish. I live in BC and the unjabbed are still not allowed to visit their loved ones in hospital here. Police are sometimes called and you are escorted out. If Smith wants to improve the lives of Albertans, and I think she does, she’s got to hold her head high. Stop apologizing. Know that you are on the right path. Social media is filled with comments from fellow Canadians, saying “I want to move to Alberta now! ” So Ms. Smith, say what you mean and mean what you say—so far it’s working.
